15 militants arrested in Pak's Swat valley
Pakistani troops arrested 15 militants in the restive northwestern Swat valley and repulsed attacks on several check posts in Waziristan tribal region though there were no casualties, authorities said on Wednesday.

Security forces apprehended 10 militants during search and clearance operations near Charbagh, Qambar and Garai Kalle in Swat.
Five more militants were arrested and a stolen car recovered during operations in Baz Darra Bala and Thana, the military said.
Four militants also surrendered to security forces at Chamtlai and Khwazakhela in Swat. In Waziristan tribal region, militants attacked security check posts near Ahmedwam and Kotkai in Jandola sector and at Kaniguram in Shakai, but were driven back by troops.
There were no reports of casualties in these clashes.
Security forces conducted a search operation near Pash Ziarat and Makeen in Razmak sector and cleared 21 militant-held compounds and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition.
Troops also conducted search and clearance operations in Shakai sector and recovered arms and ammunition.
