25 US, UK troops killed in Nasiriyah: Iraq

The Iraqi military announced on Sunday that 25 US and British troops had been killed in fighting with Iraqi forces around Nasiriyah in southern Iraq.

"Twenty-five soldiers were killed, a large number wounded and others taken prisoner," it said in a statement.
