An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 rattled the San Francisco Bay area on Monday, the US Geological Survey said.
The quake's epicenter was one mile (two kilometers) north of El Cerrito, California at a depth of 8.8 kilometers, the agency said.
It struck at 5.33 am (1333 GMT).
