Nine people were killed and five others wounded when gunmen attacked a wedding party in eastern Afghanistan overnight, a provincial spokesman said on Thursday.
"Nine people were killed and five others injured last night when armed oppposition militants attacked a wedding party in Dur Baba district" in Nangarhar province, said provincial spokesman Ahmad Zia Abdulzai.
