At least 49 people have been injured in Boston after one town trolley rear-ended another, local television reported.
WBZ television said none of the injuries were life threatening.
According to the report, the trolleys were traveling westbound when one rear-ended the other late on Friday.
The most seriously injured victim was the operator of the second train, who is in stable condition at a local hospital, WBZ said.
Authorities said one of the drivers involved admitted to police that he was text messaging at the time of the crash.
