Bips, Arshad Warsi 'racially abused' in UK

Actor John Abraham tells BBC that Bipasha Basu and Arshad Warsi faced a verbal race attack while shooting for Goal in the UK, reports Vijay Dutt.

Actors Bipasha Basu and Arshad Warsi faced a verbal race attack from some white men while shooting for their film Goal in the UK, Bipasha’s boyfriend and co-star John Abraham has told the BBC.

He said they were shooting outside a Southall pub, when two white men in a car arrived and “started rapping expletives”. They allegedly shouted stuff about “brown skin and black skin” before zooming off.

UK-based film critic Anil Sinanan said it was “believable” the incident happened, but it was not a “daily British experience”.
