Blast in south Ethiopia kills three
An explosion in a hotel in Ethiopia killed three and wounded five in the southern region of Borana, a government official said on Wednesday.
Spokesman Zemedhun Tekle said "terrorists" planted the explosive device in the hotel in Negele, without giving further details.
Last week, another explosion in a bus killed at least three people in the capital Addis Ababa. Police also blamed that attack on terrorists it says are funded by neighbouring Eritrea.
Ethiopia has often accused Eritrea of being behind blasts on its territory. Eritrea routinely denies the accusations.
The two Horn of Africa neighbours, which fought each other in a two-year war ending in 2000, are locked in a bitter impasse over their 1,000 km (620 mile) border.
