China said on Saturday that low levels of radioactive iodine-131 released from the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan were detected in atmosphere of northern Heilongjiang province.

China said on Saturday that low levels of radioactive iodine-131 released from the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan were detected in atmosphere of northern Heilongjiang province.
China’s National Nuclear Emergency Coordination Committee said in a statement to Xinhua, that the level was within safe limits and below one hundred thousandth of the average level.
