China's vice-premier Hui Liangyu starts visit to Slovenia
China's vice-premier Hui Liangyu arrived Wednesday in Ljubljana for a three-day visit to Slovenia aimed at strengthening bilateral ties with the tiny European Union member.

China's vice-premier Hui Liangyu arrived Wednesday in Ljubljana for a three-day visit to Slovenia aimed at strengthening bilateral ties with the tiny European Union member.
During the visit Hui will discuss with Slovenia's Prime Minister Borut Pahor the "strengthening of economic collaboration and exchange views on the world's economic and financial crisis and possible measures to counter it", a Slovenian government's statement issued ahead of the visit said.
On Thursday, the Chinese vice-premier in charge of agriculture will meet with Pahor, Slovenia's President Danilo Turk and other senior officials.
Hui arrived in Slovenia along with a 90-strong delegation of businessmen that will attend a China-Slovenia business conference on Thursday.
