Six other people are missing. The bus was travelling from Bogota to Manizales town in Caldas province when the landslide occurred on Wednesday.

The bus was found several hours later during an inspection of the area by police. Fourteen bodies of the 20 people who were travelling in the bus were found, police commander Alejandro Bustamante said.

Rescue work was suspended on Thursday noon due to bad weather, he said.
