Greece to find growth as Cyprus sinks into recession: EU

The European Commission on Friday forecast Greece for growth next year after six years in recession as troubled eurozone neighbour Cyprus was set for sharp recession with GDP predicted to tumble 12.6% over the next two years.

The European Commission on Friday forecast Greece for growth next year after six years in recession as troubled eurozone neighbour Cyprus was set for sharp recession with GDP predicted to tumble 12.6% over the next two years.

The Commission's spring forecasts tipped Greece as likely to see 0.6% growth in 2014 after a negative 4.25 figure this year while Cyprus was to plunge 8.7% this year and 3.9% in 2014.
