Iran hanged on Saturay two men convicted of drug trafficking in a prison in the southeastern city of Zahedan, Fars news agency reported.

The report identified the two as H F and A N, and said they had been found guilty of smuggling 11 kilogrammes of heroin and 387 kilogrammes of opium respectively.
The latest hangings bring to at least 219 the number of executions in Iran this year, according to an AFP count.
Amnesty International says Iran carried out more death sentences in 2007 than any other country apart from China, executing 317 people.
Capital offences in the Islamic republic include murder, rape, armed robbery, drug trafficking and adultery.
