LeT names new leaders, to focus on Kashmir

According to a television report, four new commanders Shahji, Hyder Bhayee, Huzefa and Walid have replaced Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Yousuf Muzammil, Ahmad Bhai and Zarar Shah in the Let top hierarchy. The new commanders will initially focus on Valley and the Doda-Rajouri-Poonch belt in Jammu.

According to a television report, four new commanders Shahji, Hyder Bhayee, Huzefa and Walid have replaced Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Yousuf Muzammil, Ahmad Bhai and Zarar Shah.

Lakhvi, Shah and others leaders have been detained by Pakistan in connection with the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

All the new commanders are Pakistani nationals who have operated in the Kashmir Valley over the last decade.

The new commanders will initially focus on Valley and the Doda-Rajouri-Poonch belt in Jammu.

The new commanders are likely to focus on the Valley and the Doda-Rajouri-Poonch belt in Jammu. Shahji has been reported to be active in the Valley till 2007 while Hyder left the Kashmir in 2006.
