Depp breaks silence on split with Paradis

Washington: Johnny Depp has finally opened up about his 2012 split from his long-time love, Vanessa Paradis.

Talking about ending his 14-year relationship with Paradis, the 50-year-old told Rolling Stone magazine that the last couple years have been a bit bumpy and at times unpleasant, the CBS News reported.

He told the magazine that split wasn’t easy on him, neither was it easy for Paradis, who is mother of his two children.

He asserted that irrespective of the reason, the split doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and she’s the mother of your kids, and so you’ll always know each other.

Depp said that his love for their two kids, Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11, has made him want to stay sober through the break-up.

Bradley Cooper voted ‘man with sexiest hair’

London: Bradley Cooper has been chosen as the man with world’s best hair by 2000 women. The Hangover star topped the survey with almost half the votes beating Ryan Gosling, who fetched only 20% of the votes, the Sun reported.

David Beckham was thirdwith 17 per cent of votes while Prince Harry could manage only 5 percent, the poll conducted for hair brand Fudge revealed.

Most of the women surveyed, thought that hair longer than six inches was a turn-off and just seven percent were eager to run their fingers through hair like that of Russell Brand.

Talcum powder ups risk of ovarian cancer

London: Women who use talcum powder regularly are at higher risk of developing ovarian cancer, according to a new research.

US scientists at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston have warned that powder particles applied to intimate areas after washing can seep into the body, the Daily Express reported.

This can trigger inflammation, while increasing the risk of an ovarian tumour by 24%.

Why is it easier to lose 2-4 pounds rather than 3?

Washington: Consumers are more likely to pursue a goal when they set a high-low range goal instead of a single number goal, a new study has revealed.

This is because they experience a greater sense of accomplishment when the goal is attainable and challenging which makes them want to pursue their goal.

High-low range goals influence consumer goal reengagement, which is driven by the attainability and challenge of the goal, they said.
