Musharraf may lift Emergency in 48 hrs

A local TV channel also reports that all the people detained during the period will be released soon.

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf is likely to lift emergency within the next 48 hours, local TV channel Dawn News reported on Wednesday.

In a "change of command" ceremony held in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, Musharraf quit as army chief and handed over command to Vice Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.
