US President Barack Obama offered his "deepest condolences" to the families of the 152 people who were killed in a Pakistani airline crash on Wednesday.
An Air Blue flight went down in poor weather about 20 km from Islamabad, killing everyone on board - including two Americans.
"I extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends of all who died in Wednesday's tragic crash of Air Blue flight ED202 near Islamabad," Obama said in a statement.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those touched by this horrible accident," he added. "The American people stand with the people of Pakistan in this moment of tragedy."
