Pak blasts - PPP announces 3-day mourning

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led by former prime minister Benazir Bhutto on Friday announced three days of nationwide mourning after bomb attacks at her rally killed over 130 people and wounded hundreds.

During this period, PPP flags would fly at half-mast all across the country while black flags will be hoisted in party offices as a mark of mourning, media reports said.

Bhutto narrowly escaped an attempt on her life as the twin blasts ripped through her parade on the streets of the southern Pakistani city of Karachi.
