Pak to boycott Bonn talks

Pakistan will not attend a global conference on Afghanistan in Bonn on December 5 in protest against the Nato air attack that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.

Pakistan will not attend a global conference on Afghanistan in Bonn on December 5 in protest against the Nato air attack that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in Lahore, the Nation reported. "We want to live with honour and dignity," he was quoted as saying.

The prime minister urged people to stand by the government so that it could cope with the challenges.
