A petition seeking trial of former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf on treason charges was filed in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, Aaj TV reported.
The petition was filed in the apex court's Lahore Registry, the channel reported quoting court officials.
The petitioner, Zahid Hussain, requested the Supreme Court to issue orders to register a case of treason against Musharraf on charges of violating the constitution.
The petition also requested the court to register another case against Musharraf for violating the oath of the Pakistan Army.
