Yadav on Monday mobilised Maoist cadres at Mirchaiya in Siraha district and recaptured a private building which was earlier evicted by Nepal Police. Earlier, cadres of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF), a partner of the ruling coalition, had called for an indefinite strike in Siraha, demanding the eviction of Maoists from confiscated land.

“He (Bamdev) has used force upon the people. We cannot tolerate this,” Yadav had said, challenging Gautam’s authority.
