An environmental group has claimed that thousands of mountaineers -who set off from the South Base Camp in Nepal each year - would do a better job of keeping the environment clean if they have somewhere civilised to dispose off all waste.,

"Human waste is a problem, of course," the Telegraph quoted Phinjo Sherpa, director of Eco Himal, as saying. "I am merely suggesting that if we have public toilets they can be used."
