Ramzan in homeland

Unperturbed by President Pervez Musharraf’s assertion that he would not be allowed to enter Pakistan despite a SC ruling, Sharif has said he would return home along with his brother before Ramzan.

Unperturbed by President Pervez Musharraf’s assertion that he would not be allowed to enter Pakistan despite a SC ruling, Sharif has said he would return home along with his brother before Ramzan.

“We will return to our homeland. If we compromise, we will face a situation similar to that of 1971 when Pakistan lost a major portion of itself for not respecting the mandate,” the deposed Premier told the media in Islamabad over the telephone from London.

Musharraf had said that the Sharif brothers would not be allowed to come back to Pakistan despite an apex court verdict permitting them to return home.
