Police had a rare “guest” on Friday—former Nepal king Gyanendra Shah’s son-in-law Raj Bahadur Singh.

The 34-year-old, recently joined Nepal Janata Dal, a small party, was arrested from a disco for violating prohibitory orders.

Singh, married to Gyanendra’s daughter Prerana, was found indulging in drunken behaviour with friends at a disco at 1.30 am. Rules prohibit discos to operate after 12.00 am. Singh was in the police station till the early hours of Saturday.
