Rebels ready for truce if Gaddafi complies

"Our condition for the ceasefire is the withdrawal of pro-Gaddafi forces, brigades and mercenaries from the cities and their nearby areas," Xinhua quoted rebel leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil saying. Jalil said any ceasefire without meeting this condition could pave the way for Libya's separation, asking for weapons to fight on.
