Russia has opened a criminal investigation into "terrorism" after twin deadly blasts ripped through the Moscow metro, the spokesman of the investigative committee of prosecutors said today.

Russia has opened a criminal investigation into "terrorism" after twin deadly blasts ripped through the Moscow metro, the spokesman of the investigative committee of prosecutors said on Monday.
"An inquiry has been opened according to article 205 of the Russian criminal code -- terrorism," Russian news agencies quoted the spokesman, Vladimir Markin, as saying.
