Saudi intelligence chief to discuss India-Pak tension

Saudi intelligence chief Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz arrived in Pakistan today to "discuss Pakistan-India tension", a media report said.

Saudi intelligence chief Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday to "discuss Pakistan-India tension", a media report said.

Geo TV citing diplomatic sources said that he would meet President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and other top ranking officials.

Prince Muqrin would hold talks with Gilani on Tuesday.

The report said he would attend a reception hosted by Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Ali Awadh Al-Asseri. Key political leaders would attend the reception.

There was heightened tension between India and Pakistan following the November 26-29 Mumbai terror attack in which over 170 people were killed.
