At least six people were killed in a missile strike in a region known as a safe haven for Al-Qaeda militants, residents and intelligence officials said.

At least six people were killed in a missile strike on Monday in a Pakistani region known as a safe haven for Al-Qaeda militants, residents and intelligence officials said.

The attack took place near Azam Warsak village in the South Waziristan tribal region on the Afghan border. No military spokesmen were immediately available for comment.
