Taliban 'behind firing at Karzai': spokesman

Taliban insurgents were behind the firing at President Hamid Karzai during a celebration in the capital, Kabul, on Sunday, a Taliban spokesman said.

"We had our people there who fired at Karzai," Zabihullah Mujahid told a Reuters from an undisclosed location. It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties from the firing.
