British PM David Cameron suffered its first political casualty on Friday when defence minister Liam Fox quit over influence-peddling allegations surrounding a close personal friend.

British PM David Cameron suffered its first political casualty on Friday when defence minister Liam Fox quit over influence-peddling allegations surrounding a close personal friend.
"I mistakenly allowed the distinction between my personal interest and my government activities to become blurred," Fox wrote to Cameron explaining about Adam Werritty, a defence lobbyist, joining him on overseas trips. Fox is now the subject of a inquiry.
