Ukraine says to meet Russia in Moscow on gas-agency

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to meet in Moscow to discuss a row over gas prices that has cut supplies to Europe, Russian media reported, quoting the Ukrainian government press service.

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to meet on Saturday in Moscow to discuss a row over gas prices that has cut supplies to Europe, Russian media reported on Thursday, quoting the Ukrainian government press service.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin spoke by telephone at midnight on Thursday, Interfax news agency said, quoting the press service.

"In the conversation, an agreement was reached to hold talks on Saturday in Moscow between the governments of the two states on the gas issue," it said.
