Federation of Indian American Christian Organisations of North America (FIACONA), in a statement, has urged for peace and calm in the wake of terror strikes in the national capital and hoped that its perpetrators would be brought to justice.

"These dastardly acts are crimes against Humanity and we join the civic society in univocal condemnation of such acts," said its president Bernard Malik.

Five coordinated blasts ripped through the crowded markets and public places in New Delhi last evening killing atleast 20 people and injuring several others.

"FIACONA can sympathise with victims as the Christian community is still grieving for those killed and injured in Orissa violence and requests all to the pursue the path of peace and non-violence," Malik added.
