Actor Hrithik Roshan has uploaded a message on his official Facebook page, for his fans and followers. In the long post, he has requested his fans to not jump to conclusions and only rely on reports by the police, in his ongoing case with actor Kangana Ranaut.
The actor, who recently gave two television interviews breaking his silence on the alleged accusations made by Kangana, apologised to media outlets he is unable to speak to. He also requested people not to take sides, “I am extremely thankful to people who have supported me in this painfully unfortunate episode. But my request to all friends and observers would be to stop taking sides in this issue. This is an unfortunate issue and not a contest of sorts. Before this is dangerously hijacked into a man vs woman, insider vs outsider, privileged vs non privileged issue we must stop. Please don’t support me. Don’t take sides.”
He also asked everyone to go by the investigations alone in the issue, “I am by no means seeking to close this issue. The only thing I am suggesting is to let the investigations be the only spokesperson in this issue henceforth.”
Here’s what Hrithik wrote in the post.
Meanwhile Kangana’s sister Rangoli has been on a tweeting spree, accusing and questioning Hrithik. She also tweeted against actor Farhan Akhtar, who supported Hrithik in an open letter.
Dear @FarOutAkhtar your views could've been appreciated if you and your father were not so biased to Roshans.— Rangoli Chandel (@Rangoli_A) October 8, 2017
Kangana has so far remained mum on the issue post Hrithik’s interview.
Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui, had also come up with questions to Hrithik’s explanations. He said, “My client was dating Hrithik, who was a married man at that time. And the fact remains that Hrithik never allowed her to take any kind of pictures or keep any kind of data, which would suggest any kind of relationship, for a simple reason that he had to protect his image.”
Kangana’s lawyer also said that Hrithik’s denial about being in a relationship with Kangana is false.
“My client was dating Hrithik, who was a married man at that time. And the fact remains that Hrithik never allowed her to take any kind of pictures or keep any kind of data, which would suggest any kind of relationship, for a simple reason that he had to protect his image,” says Siddiqui.
