The film’s India total as of early February stands at Rs 54 crore, 91% of it which came in its opening weekend.

The $310 million total however, is enough to make it the highest grosser of 2017 worldwide. Fifty Shades Darker, the second installment in the lucrative, but critically panned Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, currently stands at number 2, with $284 million, followed by Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga ($246 million), which has made almost 99% of its money in China.
