Chennai college bus catches fire, students escape unhurt
The bus, belonging to a private college, was near Guindy when the driver noticed smoke and fire emanating from the engine, a Fire and Rescue Services official said.

A college bus carrying 15 students caught fire here on Wednesday, but everyone inside escaped unhurt as fire service personnel doused the flames, officials said.
The bus, belonging to a private college, was near Guindy when the driver noticed smoke and fire emanating from the engine, a Fire and Rescue Services official said.
The blaze soon spread but the students alerted the fire service personnel of nearby Raj Bhavan who rushed to the spot and doused the flames, he said.
