Around 10 am, Sonu was going to his workplace after dropping his kids in a school when the bus (PB 03 AJ 7515) hit his bike.

A police team, led by deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Dharamkot Gurmel Singh, rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to the civil hospital.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers, led by Ajay Sharma, held a protest outside the civil hospital, and demanded compensation of Rs 10 lakh and free treatment.

A case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Dharamkot police station.

The driver of the bus has been identified as Paramjit Singh, a resident of Nihal Singh Wala.
