The second seeds had won against Japan’s Miyu Kato and China’s Yifan Xu 6-2, 6-2 in their quarter-final encounter.
They will next face the winners of the match between China’s Chen Liang and Zhaoxuan Yang and third-seeded Raquel Atawo and Abigail Spears from the United States.
This is Sania and Strycova’s third tournament together.
Last month, the Indo-Czech duo won the Cincinnati Open title with a 7-5, 6-4 win in the final against former partner Martina Hingis and Coco Vandeweghe of the United States. However, the pair were ousted from the US Open after losing in straight sets in the quarterfinal to Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic.
