It’s simply a dream come true: Faisal Khan

Says Faisal Khan, winner of Dance India Dance L’il Masters 2, who dreams of choreographing for actor Hrithik Roshan.

Mera sapna pura ho gaya. (My dream has come true.) My life has completely changed after winning the show. Initially, I just couldn’t believe that I have actually won the show, but now the feeling has sunk in.” That’s how Faisal Khan, the winner of dance reality show Dance India Dance L’il Masters 2 describes his victory. Sharing his feeling on being declared the winner, he adds, “I got to learn so much about dance during my stint on the show. I am so happy that I have made my parents so proud of me by becoming the winner.”

The Mumbai-based 13-year-old, whose father is an autorickshaw driver, now wants to become a professional choreographer and has dreams of making actor Hrithik Roshan dance to his tunes. “I want to be a great choreographer like Remo sir (Remo D’souza) and also want to make Hrithik Roshan dance to my choreography. I really like him a lot,” he says Interestingly, Faisal, who is a standard eight student in Meera’s School in Mumbai, wants to focus on his studies. “I want to focus on my studies completely. My school has supported me thoroughly through the show and I am so happy that I made everyone proud. My friends say that I have become a hero,” he says.

Khan beat fellow contestants Om Chetry, Rohan Parkale, Saumya Rai and Jeet Das to take home the the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 10 lacs.

Ask him about his plans of spending the prize money and pat comes the reply, “I have given the money to my parents. They will decide how to invest it.”
