A picture is going viral on the internet and has left many people puzzled.
Coffer Illusion, as the picture is being called, is a series of sunken rectangular-shaped boxes. Behind the rectangular design, there is a hidden figure which many people have not been able to spot or are finding it hard to do so.
The illusion has been created by Anthony Norcia, formerly of the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute, as reported in Daily Mail. It was a finalist in the 2006 Best Illusion of the Year Contest.
If you relax your sight for a minute and look carefully, you will find the patterns of circles hidden under the illusion of rectangular coffers.
There are 16 circles in total in this image. Try to spot them, if you can.
Damn this Coffer Optical Illusion, and its supposed 16 circles. A few more whiskeys might help ... pic.twitter.com/D663b5Qzmp— Rich H Wand (@Wandster) August 1, 2017
So the Coffer illusion really fucks my head up and I made this gif to illustrate what the experience feels like for me pic.twitter.com/CWSc3D0j8K— 🅱️ravis! (@gravislizard) August 9, 2017
That was cool. I couldn't see them at first, then they just jumped out all at once.— beaver1224 (@beaver1224) August 2, 2017
Today in 'men on the internet': men moaning at me because they can't spot the circles 😂😂😂— rebecca roache (@rebecca_roache) August 7, 2017
That's amazing! 1st viewing: no circles. Read the link & looked again: hang on, there they are!— Liz Wride (@LizWride) August 7, 2017
