This sculpture by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami is called the ‘Oval Buddha Gold’and was recently on display at the Chateau de Versailles, in Versailles, outside Paris. The exhibition, which has started on September 12 and will go on till December 12, will be Murakami’s first major retrospective in France. Murakami, who was born in Tokyo in 1962, will display his sculptures and paintings in 15 rooms in the palace’s Hall of Mirrors and the apartments of the King and the Queen.
