The production of Jungle Book Jive, kick-started in the Capital with over 1700 students from different schools in attendance on the first day.

Children had a gala time dancing with Mowgli, playing music with Baloo and Bagheera and having a ball with MC Explorer Eddie on the first day of Fever Entertainment’s Jungle Book Jive. The international stage production —with focus on edutainment — began with a special show for schools. Over 1700 students turned up for the event, which was a celebration of music, dance and theatre.

“Fever Entertainment, one of India’s largest branded entertainment firm, has been at the forefront of delivering innovation and customer delight. We are presenting Jungle Book Jive, a superlative stage production with an Australian troupe and a grand production aligned with international standards. We are sure that kids in particular and Delhites will once again revel in this Fever’s presentation,” said Harshad Jain, CEO, Radio and Entertainment, HT Media Ltd.

On stage production based on British novelist, Rudyard Kipling’s famous story, The Jungle Book, was a hit with the students as they cheered, sang and joined in the fun. “I love Mowgli and Baloo, they are my favourites. Shere Khan is scary, but I like him too,” said Jessica Arora, a student of St Thomas’ School.

The story imparted the feelings of sharing, caring, love, friendship and loyalty in an interesting and entertaining manner — taking the kids on a journey through the jungle. Kirat Singh, an excited student of DPS Mathura Road, said, “I loved the show. I will come back with my family.” The 80 minute show, regaled teachers and children alike and everyone left with a big smile on their faces. The four-day extravaganza is on till December 18.
