Bhopal records season's hottest day at 43.3 degree Celsius

According to the regional meteorological centre officials, temperature will continue to rise in all the parts of the state. The day temperature may go up to 44 degree Celsius in the state capital, the weather department said, adding the minimum temperature is also expected to rise in the next few days.
The sky remained partially covered with clouds on Sunday. The meteorological officials said a rise in surface heat led to occurrence of shallow clouds over the state.
The weather department has also warned of heat wave conditions in few parts of Ujjain division. Light rains were also witnessed in few parts of Rewa division.
Satna recorded 6 cm of rainfall. The highest temperature recorded in the state on Sunday was 44 degree Celsius in Shajapur district.
A rise in day temperature was witnessed in almost all the major cities of the state. The temperature of Indore was recorded 42.8 de g ree Celsius, while Gwalior registered a temperature of 40.6 degree Celsius and Jabalpur 41.5 degree Celsius.
