Reacting to report cards being presented by ministers of Shivraj Singh Chouhan government on completion of one year of BJP rule in its third term in MP, state Congress chief Arun Yadav said on Monday that first, the chief minister should explain to people what the BJP government had done in the past 11 years of its uninterrupted rule in the state.
Talking to media persons at Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarters, Yadav said the exercise of ministers' presenting report cards of their respective departments was 'fake' and based on jugglery of words and figures to delude people further.
Referring to the report card presented by minister for health and medical education Narottam Mishra earlier in the day, Yadav said that rosy picture presented by the minister in terms of health care and medical education was 'bogus'.
He said chief medical officers of as many as 39 districts admitting to purchase of sub-standard medicines showed the concern of BJP regime to provide better health care to people particularly the poor.
He accused the officials of the health department of purchasing medicines without requisite tests and ending up purchasing sub-standard medicines. He alleged that medicine purchase scam was worth over crores and everyone from ministers to officials of health department have been involved in it.
