In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said here on Sunday the PM did immense damage to the country’s dignity and honour and such a government should be drowned in Arabian Sea.
“Is sarkar ko Arab Sagar mei duba dena chahiye,” observed the CM. He was addressing the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s Yuva Vijay Sankalp Sammelan at Lal Parade ground here at Bhopal.
Chouhan said the Prime Minister compromised with the dignity of the country and he was responsible for the poor economic situation in the country.
While BJP leaders who include the party affairs in charge for Madhya Pradesh Ananth Kumar exhorted party workers to work wholeheartedly for the hat-trick of the BJP government in the state and help the party reach Red Ford in Delhi (after 2014 Lok Sabha elections).
Chouhan said though Manmohan Singh happened to be an economist he failed in checking the constant decline of value of the rupee against dollar.
“Our borders are not safe. There is hardly any end to the intrusion from China and Pakistan into the country. How intruders can be allowed to get back to their soil”, he asked.
“UPA government has pledged our dignity. India does not need a leader like Manmohan Singh who cannot take decision on his own. The decision is taken by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s advisory committee. We want prime minister like Atal Bihari Vajpayee who got our strength recognized in the world after Pokhran nuclear test,” said Chouhan.
Targeting AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh without naming him in reference to the latter’s allegations that the RSS and BJP workers attacked him he said the Congress leaders were in habit of smashing the windscreens of their vehicles and then blaming the BJP.
Ananth Kumar said the BJP had a leader in the state but the Congress did not have any.
He also targeted the AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh holding him responsible for the backwardness of the state during his 10 years rule in the past.
Earlier, BJYM national president Anurag Thakur highlighted BJP MLA Vishwas Sarang coined a term ‘RAHUL’ describing poor conditions of certain states- Rajasthan, Assam, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Lakshwadeep as Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh were known as BIMARU states.
