Digvijaya thanks MP chief minister for ‘birthday gift’

This is what All India Congress Committee general secretary Digvijaya Singh tweeted on his Twitter page on Saturday night, hours after a first information report was lodged against him by the state government in connection with the alleged fraudulent appointments made in the assembly during his tenure as the chief minister.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Singh have been trying to outsmart each other for a while now.

Of late, the former chief minister has stepped up his attack against Chouhan, accusing him and his wife Sadhna Singh of being involved in the PEB scam.

A few days ago, Digvijaya Singh made public the details of a message sent to Sadhna Singh by one of the accused in the scam.
