The producers of Khamoshiyan have devised a new strategy to promote their film. Starring Gurmeet Choudhary, Sapna Pabbi and Ali Fazal, the movie will be pushed through a game. Players can choose one of the three characters portrayed by the actors and get on with the game. Each character will have a secret and a story to narrate. This will be in tune with the ongoing campaign of unlocking the 'secrets in silences'.

"We have a very strategically promotional approach for Khamoshiyan. We want to make Khamoshiyan a franchise and we are devising strategies that will excite and engage audiences more about the film and make them endorsers of it. They have loved the trailer, the songs have been welcomed and we are very excited about the release of the movie," said producer Mahesh Bhatt in a press note.

The plot of the film revolves around a young novelist, Kabir (Fazal), a one-book wonder. On a journey to seek inspiration for his second novel, he meets Meera (Pabbi), who runs a guest house in an isolated area. If the house is eerie, its owner, Jaidev (Gurmeet), married to Meera is a demon in disguise. Fazal soon finds himself encountering strange things.

The film will be released on January 30, 2015.
