Aamir Khan's Talaash, where he plays a cop, is being touted as one of the most-anticipated films of 2012. Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherji also star in the psychological-thriller.

The trailer of the film was released with Karan Johar's remake of Agneepath, which hit theatres on January 26.

Aamir Khan's moustached look is definitely a thumbs-up. Rani Mukherji can be seen as a simple Indian wife, clad in saris. Kareena Kapoor has gone glamorous for her role, dressed in short dresses and heavy make-up.

After Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd (2007), Talaash marks Reema Kagti's second outing as a director. Dil Chahta Hai (2001) team - Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Aamir Khan - come together again in the hope of recreating box office magic with Talaash.

Co-written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema, Talaash is being made within a budget of Rs 40 crore and its satellite rights have already been sold for Rs 40 crore. A good six months before the film's release!

A fake poster of the film surfaced on web and Farhan Akhtar was quick to clarify on Twitter: "Please beware of a fake 'Talaash’ poster doing the rounds.... it is not the official first look. That is still to happen (sic)."

A digital poster of the Aamir Khan starrer was released on web recently.

The film is scheduled for June 1 release.
