After a day of treatment and supervision at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri, Salman has been shifted to his home in Bengaluru, where he is recuperating. The producers, UTV Spotboy, have decided to resume promotions once he is back on his feet.

“As soon as the accident occurred, Salman and co-star Prabhudheva sensed that it was major, so they pushed the crowds aside and ensured that he was in an ambulance quickly,” says a witness who was at the awards ceremony.

The film’s director, Remo D’Souza adds, “The accident is very unfortunate. We wish Salman a speedy recovery. He plays one of the key characters in the film, and he features in a lot of the promotional activities as well. Now since he isn’t around, they can’t happen. We hope he will be well enough to resume the promotions in a week.”
