Abhishek also injured while shooting for Happy New Year

Now, Abhishek Bachchan has hurt his right wrist while shooting for the same film. But the actor continues to keep his commitments. The actor will also resume his shooting schedule today.

In January, Shah Rukh Khan was injured on the sets of Farah Khan’s Happy New Year. The team was shooting at a five star hotel in Mumbai when a door fell on him. And now, Abhishek Bachchan has hurt his right wrist while shooting for the same film.

But the actor continues to keep his commitments. “The doctors suggested that he wear a wrist splint till he recovers,” says a source close to the actor. So, Abhishek attended day 2 of FICCI Frames in Mumbai, and then went to the London School of Economics, where he was invited as a keynote speaker at the university’s Economic Forum for India 2014 conference, sporting a splint.

The actor will also resume his shooting schedule today (March 18). “He does not want his injury to delay filming. The team will ensure precautions are taken and the injury doesn’t aggravate,” adds source.
