After Vicky Donor, John Abraham to produce a Marathi film?

After Priyanka Chopra and Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham is the next Bollywood star to produce a Marathi film.

John Abraham made his debut as a producer with the National Award-winning film Vicky Donor in 2012. His other Bollywood productions include Madras Cafe (2013), Rocky Handsome and the sequel to Force (2011), which is currently being made. Now, John is set to make his debut as a Marathi film producer.

A source says, “Making films in different languages has been on John’s mind for a long time. He has had several meetings with popular Marathi film directors and producers in the past few months. He wanted to make sure he collaborates with the right people.”

Apart from John, other Bollywood actors such as Priyanka Chopra and Riteish Deshmukh have also produced Marathi films in the past. “John is likely to produce two Marathi movies. The projects will be announced soon. He also wants to produce films in other Indian languages in the future,” says the source.
