Sonam Kapoor’s reception was a star-studded affair Tuesday evening with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Rekha and Kangana Ranaut, among several others gracing the occasion. Pics inside.

After tying the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Anand Ahuja, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor threw a grand reception for family, friends and colleagues in Mumbai and in attendance were stars such as Rekha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, and others.

Both Aishwarya and husband Abhishek Bachchan arrived for the reception dressed in white.

While Rekha looked dazzling in her usual elegant attire, Shahid Kapoor, accompanied by wife Mira Rajput, graced the celebration in a stylish grey kurta.

Sonam is likely to leave for the Cannes Film Festival soon after the reception where she is expected to walk the red carpet for the eighth time. She will be seen at Cannes on May 14 and 15, representing a make-up brand. She will then focus on promoting her film with Kareena Kapoor, Veere Di Wedding.

Sonam and Anand have postponed their honeymoon keeping her schedule in mind and are likely to take a break only after November.
